The Museum of Art Nouveau and Art Deco,Casa Lis, celebrates the Museum Day 2012 with the collective creation of a giant mural on Wednesday 9 May to Friday 18 and it will also host an open house and free entrance on the 18 of May a tour through the building and workshops for children.

The City of Salamanca organize from 5 to May 13, 2012 in the Plaza Mayor the thirty-second edition of the Municipal Book Fair with the presence of ten libraries, eight publishers and distributors and six institutions and various cultural activities.

Today we are going to visit The Clergy, at 6 pm.
In front of the Casa de las Conchas is the Clergy. This is a monumental baroque building erected by the Jesuits in the s. XVIII as a seminar.
Its construction started in 1617 by Philip III and his wife Margaret of Austria, under the direction of architect Juan Gomez de Mora, and was completed in 1755.
The architectural complex consists of the cloister, school and church and a residence of the Jesuits. Highlights include:
